1. The skin
Unfortunately not all skins are suitable for obtaining a pixel effect as defined as the ones we are used to seeing on social networks. The precise and defined dot effect can only be appreciated on dry or combination skin. In oily skin, however, the dot will be more blurred.
2. Choose the right needle
If the skin is dry or mixed, we can use a single-pointed needle to make the pixel technique. BIOTEK has 6 different types of single-pointed needles, to allow you to work on all skin types and create many different effects. The needle we suggest for this technique is 1 pt. HD Biotek! A unique needle of its kind, with a long, sharp taper and equipped with a special plastic tip that makes the needle stable and releases 30% more color.
3. The right movement
The right movement to use to make these dots even more visible is the pendulum. To be performed rigorously with the dermograph at 90° entering and exiting the skin with an oscillatory movement so as not to create spots in conjunction with the point of insertion of the needle into the skin.
4. The right pigment
Not all pigments are good for eyebrow shading...you'll need a liquid but particularly concentrated pigment! Attention: do not use pigments that are too diluted or with little writing power, otherwise you risk traumatizing the skin by making many passes but not implanting enough pigment!
