Is there a difference between a Tattoo Body pen and a Permanent Makeup pen?
The answer is yes, there is.

Body tattoo machines are much larger in diameter, heavier and more powerful. This is because they need to pierce the skin of the body which is thicker than the skin of the face (face skin 0.2 mm vs body skin up to 4 mm).

Using a machine that is too powerful, to work on a sensitive and thin area, is never indicated. It makes our work much more difficult and we can run into serious complications such as implanting the color in the basal dermis where it will be impossible to be removed.

In addition, tattoo artists use different movements for shading, compared to those used in dermopigmentation; for this reason, body tattoo machines and permanent make-up machines have two different weight balances.
